The PKK Kurdish Freedom fighters announce that they carried out series of Kamikaze drone attacks against bases belonging to Turkish forces in Kurdistan Region (KRG), north of Iraq. The PKK claim the killing of 8 Turkish soldiers, the destruction of 7 fortifications and causing significant damage to their bases
The statement says: “Between 29 June and 2 July, our Martyr Doğan Zinar Union targeted the bases of the invading Turkish army in the Martyr Delîl Batı Zap region with drones. The invader bases in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit from the air once and the bases in the Girê FM Resistance Area were hit from the air 3 times. In these actions, at least 8 invading Turkish soldiers were eliminated, 7 positions and 4 tents were destroyed, and the occupying bases were significantly destroyed."
