Al-Hadath TV and Syrian Observatory reported that Turkish intelligence is recruiting Mercenaries from factions loyal to them in Syria to fight against the "Kurdistan Workers’ Party” (PKK) in the mountains of Iraqi Kurdistan, offering them attractive salaries ranging between 2,500 and 3,000 US dollars, which is considered the highest salary as previously provided to fighters during the Turkish authorities’ recruitment of mercenaries to fight in Libya, followed by Azerbaijan and then in Niger.

The Syrian Observatory (SOHR) pointed out that the numbers participating so far are estimated at about 400 mercenaries of the “Sultan Suleiman Shah” faction and the “Hamza” division, in addition to other numbers from the “Sultan Murad” faction

SOHR also said: "The Turkish authorities continue to convert Syrians as mercenaries to participate in fighting in battles outside Syria's borders, taking advantage of the poor living conditions that the northern Syrian regions suffer from, and the low value of the monthly salaries received by members of the factions loyal to Turkey."

The Lekolin.org website also published several databases and leaked the names of ISIS members who were released from Prison with aim of recruiting them as mercenaries to fight against PKK;
